A couple of years ago, I took a class called Pixelated Portraits by Kara Bullock, and I loved how she taught us a way to put down our intentional brush strokes of color, while still having fun with our portraits. It was a way for me to loosen up with the details of my work.
This beauty just might be my favorite so far this year. Her riot of color reminds me of my spring garden, and all the beautiful blooms coming up right now. “The Sweetness of Spring” is now varnished and she’s ready for a new home. You can find her in my ArtcyLucy Etsy shop.
