Hello friends

It has been such a long time since I shared here. And so much has happened in the world around us in that time. I hope this blog post finds you well, amid this time of uncertainty. We are all responding to this pandemic in different ways, trying to stay calm and productive, and keep our families safe. 

Through it all, I have continued draw and paint as much as possible. I actually closed my ArtcyLucy Etsy shop for almost four months, but a couple weeks ago, I opened it back up again with a few new paintings. And in the next few weeks I will have a few more to share.

My back garden has been growing nicely, this spring and summer, and the sunflowers are popping up all over the place. So, they showed up in my paintings as well this past month. The two paintings above, “Among the Sunflowers” and “Summer Sunflowers” have sold, and will be going to a collector who lives in Canada, along with these new ones.

“Modern Matisse” a study in figure painting, using Henri Matisse as my inspiration, as well as “Fleurs Magnifique”, a loose and colorful floral painting.

While those have already sold, you will find these new ones in the shop right now.
