She Dreams In Color – 9 x 12 inch acrylic on stretched canvas (SOLD, thank you!)

When I see this sweet girl, I think of Matisse and his colorful portraits of women. He may have been subconsciously in my thoughts as I painted this one. I didn’t have much of a plan when I started…I just knew I wanted (needed!) to play with color.

I suppose she is one more to add to my continuing Dream series I started years ago. She is now varnished and ready for a new home. You will find her in my ArtcyLucy Etsy shop.
