Even as I sit to type this, I can’t believe how quickly 2015 has flown by! It was a VERY busy year, and art wise, a successful one. Every hour I spent drawing or painting, was precious to me. I learned so much from my online classes, and loved experimenting with different styles, and different materials. But, as always, I come back to faces… it’s just my “thing“.
Here are the last of the portraits that I have completed in the last few weeks.
Willow – 5 x 7 inch acrylic painting on Ampersand gessobord (SOLD)
Leandra – 5 x 7 inch acrylic painting on Ampersand gessobord (SOLD)
Clodagh – 8 x 10 inch acrylic painting on Ampersand gessobord (available)
Kiara – 5 x 7 inch acrylic painting on stretched canvas (available)
Simone – 6 x 6 inch acrylic painting on Ampersand gessobord (available)
Daria – 6 x 6 inch acrylic painting on Ampersand gessobord (available)
And last, but not least, a floral painting, done with a combination of palette knife and brushes, and a bit of sgraffito work, so there is a lot of texture. This was a fun departure for me, and I hope to try more of this in the year to come.
Winter Bouquet – 9 x 12 inch acrylic painting on cradled wooden panel (sides are painted black)

I want to end this blog post with a BIG thank you to my family who supported my painting passion, and to my many lovely customers who love my paintings enough to want them in their own homes. There is no greater compliment for an artist.
THANK YOU!
I look forward to sharing more art with you in 2016.
