The Flower Seller – 11 x 14 inch mixed media painting on smooth Bristol paper 
It’s interesting for me to see where I started from, and how it ended up. I was given a class assignment, to do a portrait, incorporating flowers. We weren’t supposed to have a reference photo…so as you can see, I just started with a quick drawing…and went from there. It took a few sessions at the easel, and then letting it sit for a while, then back to the easel…to get it right.
