Tranquility – 5 x 7 inch acrylic painting on Ampersand Gessobord  

This is the third of a series of small waterlilies paintings I worked on this week. I love the look at them individually, but as a group, they make quite a statement. They are petite paintings, but I love them for their simplicity and their colors…and for their ability to make you feel calm and peaceful. Maybe that’s what I like best about waterlilies.

I don’t think I am finished with waterlilies yet. In fact, I have one more to show you tomorrow. In the meantime, all three of these are now available in my online art shop, ArtcyLucy.
