I just finished these four this week. These are 4 x 6 inch gouache paintings on textured 140 lb watercolor paper. I am loving gouache painting, more and more. When I varnish with a wax finish, they seem to just glow.  These five paintings, can all be found in my Etsy shop...I  just added them!

and yes, even Elizabeth just showed up on my watercolor paper. Purely accidental. Maybe I should do a series of actresses???

My small paintings have been selling this summer, and that makes me happy…because I really love painting them! I have large canvases stacked in the art room, that were kindly given to me…they are just waiting for me to start on them. I am just trying to figure out what subject I want to paint LARGE. When I figure it out, you’ll be the first to know!
