The Days of Summer Sun – 5 x 5 inch acrylic painting on stretched 1 1/2 inch thick canvas

Every so often, I break away from faces and paint some flowers. I don’t do it very often, but when I do, I always enjoy it. I have planted my little sunflower garden for the year, and in anticipation of seeing it bloom, I decided to paint a small sunflower. This is a cute little painting, on a very thick piece of canvas. There is no need to frame this one, as the sides are painted a deep blue color, to match the painting. “The Days of Summer Sun” is now available in my Etsy shop online, ArtcyLucy.
