Oh the drama! I love the piercing blue of her eyes, her bright red hair, and yes, those bold outlines surrounding her. And let’s not forget, little glimpses of gold.

Magdalena – 5 x 7 inch acrylic painting on Ampersand art panel

Magdalena is a bit more subtle and demure. The black ribbon is reminiscent of Manet, but the accents of gold, and dark raven hair with pinned up curls, are very much Klimt-like.
