Painting Greenland
It’s been a little while since I’ve posted new paintings. In the last three weeks, I’ve celebrated an anniversary, went on vacation (to the ocean!) and started on a new online class, called Art Entwined, with the lovely, Misty Mawn. When the new month started, I quickly went over to The Virtual Paintout Blog, to see what country we would be painting this month.
It’s Greenland!
The Colors of Greenland – 8 x 8 inch acrylic on canvas board
At the Edge of Greenland – 6 x 6 inch acrylic on Ampersand Claybord
Houses on the Hill, Greenland – 8 x 10 inch acrylic on canvas board
I thoroughly loved looking at the landscape, seascapes and icebergs, with the help of Google Maps. This is rugged, yet beautiful, terrain and it was such fun to virtually wander through this rough land and coastline.
All three paintings are now available in my Etsy shop online, at the ArtcyLucy Studio shop.
