From lemons to lemonade
To say that the last seven weeks has been a little stressful, would be an understatement. My father fell and broke his hip, and had to have surgery…and it seemed that life as we knew it, stopped for a while. We spent a lot of time at the rehab facility with him, so that he would be encouraged to continue physical therapy, and learn to walk again. The whole family is completely grateful for all the kindness and care shown to him (and us, too!), from the sweet CNAs, diligent nurses, to the outstandingly patient and kind, physical and occupational therapists. I give them a bow, as their jobs are NOT easy by any means. One therapist, in particular, gave my dad the needed smiles, encouragement, words of wisdom, and occasional milkshakes, he needed to get his strength back.
I painted this for her.
