Impressions of a Feather Hat – 11 x 14 inch acrylic painting on heavyweight Bristol paper  SOLD, thank you!

I have a fondness for fashion photography, and for paintings of women with hats…but you probably already noticed that about me. So, as you can imagine, I had a lovely time recreating this piece on my easel this week. I think it may have been my first time painting feathers. I love the dreamy colors in this painting…peaches, pinks, mauves, and yes those dreamy greens and blues…very impressionistic colors. 

I’ve painted two more paintings since this one…so my count for January paintings is up to 21…only 9 more to go, to make it to my goal!
