They say that Geoffrey Chaucer coined the phrase, “All good things must come to an end”, or maybe something close to that
Well, in taking stock of what I want to pursue with my art this year, I am discontinuing the sale of my pendants on Etsy, as of February 12th, 2018. I will also not be taking commissions for most of 2018. These are all “good things” but in being realistic, I have to stick with what I love. And that is…painting from my heart.
There are currently 39 art necklaces in the ArtcyLucy Etsy shop. They include necklaces with my ink sketches as well as paintings. I hope you find one you like! They will be available until February 12th, and there is free shipping for those living in the U.S.
Clicking HERE will take you directly to the “Art Necklaces” section of my shop.
I know what you mean. For 40 plus years I did a Norwegian folk art called, Rosemaling. I sold my work and taught the art at Vesterheim the Norwegian American Museum. I received the highest honor which was a gold metal. In 2000 I decided it was time to move on. It was the right decision. You are going in the right direction I’m sure since your work gets better and better. Nancy Morgan
Nancy, thanks so much for leaving this comment for me, it means a lot. I feel like these are good changes too, so I look forward to seeing where my art will take me this year. Thanks again!
I always love seeing what paintings you create daily!
