Yes, I am still exploring color…and some fun expressive mark making for my backgrounds too. You can probably tell, that this portrait is inspired by Frida Kahlo and her style sense…those fascinating eyebrows, and flowers in her hair. She loved to wear bold and bright colors, and paint with them too. This was another lesson for my “Close Up” Portraits class by Annie Hamman. And I loved getting loose with brush strokes and colors…and even a little face painting too!
