Guinevere and Friends

I am still pursuing my love of loose brush strokes of paint.

Guinevere – 9 x 12 inch acrylic painting on Ampersand Gessobord (SOLD, thank you!)

I was very deliberate with my strokes here, learning to leave things be…learning to love the thick layers of paint that I can scratch into. She is my usual style, with an edge. She’s a red head with a very cool name. She’s now available in my Etsy art shop.

I have also been making a few more art necklaces. Loving these new flower and vintage settings. Clicking on each of the images below, will send you to the Etsy listing page, with additional photos.

Emma In a Top Hat – my previous oval pendant sold. So I made another, but this time with a gunmetal square pendant, and square clear glass (not domed). I love the way my art looks under these square glass pieces. (SOLD, thank you!)

Portrait of Devon – oval pendant in shiny silver finish, with petite rolo chain

Ella the Elephant – originally a painting for my niece who loves elephants…now in miniature, wearable art. (SOLD, thank you!)

Portrait of Grace – the original gouache painting sold a while ago, but it is wonderful to see it again, in necklace form.

Maria Louisa – I just had to see how she looked in a more fancy pendant. This is a vintage silver finish, complete with vintage silver colored chain. I am loving the circular pendants with filigree.

Vincent in a Straw Hat…he looks so good in a brass colored pendant, the shape of a sunflower!

Portrait of van Gogh – my favorite painting of the artist. The original is in gouache paint, and sits framed in my living room.

These are custom made pendants, and I am so glad she requested a more ornate necklace style. I love these vintage inspired pendants! They make these ladies look so…French royalty, yes???

I will be trying some new pendant shapes in the near future. But for now, there are 38 art necklaces to choose from, all $20 or less. If you don’t see the one you wanted, just email me at ArtcyLucy@aol.com

Shipping for the year, ends on December 15th, so I can have a two week break before 2017 starts. I hope to be painting a lot in those two weeks!
