Tea Bags and Polka Dots

So I am still at it (because I LOVE it), painting tea bags and listing them in my shop. I’ve have received some wonderful feedback from ones that have purchased my tiny tea bag paintings, and they love them…which makes me so happy!

Here is the latest batch now available on my ArtcyLucy Studio shop on Etsy. Clicking on each of the images below, will take you to their Etsy page for more photos and information.

Three Sisters – this one is close to my heart, as I am the “third” sister.

I am using a variety of tea bags for my paintings, from tiny round Tetley tea bags, to Celestial Seasonings bags, which are almost square, to empty disposable bags of various sizes. These Summit tea bags are wonderful to paint on, with an almost a fabric feel to them, instead of paper.

I haven’t forgotten about my usual 5 x 7 inch portrait paintings…though they seem mighty big compared to tiny tea bags!

Janie and her Polka Dots –  5 x 7 inch acrylic on Ampersand Gessobord

The last thing I added to this painting, were the tiny polka dots…and they added a bit of whimsy and fun to her otherwise serious expression.

There are more tea bags on the easel, some just completed, some halfway done, some just started. I’ll be sharing more soon!
