Last year at this time, I painted this portrait of Saskia. Since then, it has sold, and one of my collectors asked me if I could paint a similar portrait. 

This summer, I finally did, almost a year to the day of finishing Saskia. I painted two of Saskia’s “sisters”

I love painting these small and colorful portraits. Painting them makes me happy, and when others want them for their home…well, that just makes me happy too!
