Ahh, this painting makes me think of very cold days, and warming up with a hot chocolate by a roaring fire. Too bad it is in the 70s here this week! Oh well, a girl can dream of winter, right??? This is one of the last of the Matisse inspired paintings (I think there two left in the series…for now), and then I move on to Cezanne for a while. I am having such a great time using these super bright colors…in fact, for this painting I used only happy colors!
