The Red Flower, 11 x 15 inch acrylic painting on watercolor paper
I really enjoy painting portraits, and I love to experiment with the backgrounds of these paintings. This one is filled with jewel toned colors, and of course, she has a lovely red flower in her hair. She is now the 12th art piece that I have on the Daily Paintworks site, and I have just put this painting up for auction. If you would like to take a look, here’s the link.

The other news around here…is that I am painting up a storm! I have challenged myself to making 30 paintings in 30 days…and this is January 9th, and I have just completed my 9th painting…so I am on track! I hope to show you some of those soon.
